Tracey is such a warm and welcoming teacher to my son. My son is always at ease and confident when she’s teaching him. My son is improving every time and everyday because of her. Mrs Ryan is one of the best Piano teacher We’ve ever seen. She is very professional, patient, elegant and good at understanding the needs of her students. My 6 years old daughter Connie takes private piano lessons with Ms Ryan for more than one year, Connie always look forward to her weekly lessons and she ask me “Mum, please could you send my practice Video to Mrs Ryan?” when she practice at home. Connie can read music and play with both hands proficiently. I feel her piano skill improves so fast under Mrs Ryan’s instructions.

I will always be so grateful to Tracey for teaching me during my Grade 8 Trinity College piano exam. She was empathetic, her guidance was invaluable and she helped me fall in love with playing and practicing. I looked forward to and enjoyed every lesson with her. Last year when Covid caused our first Lockdown, I seized the opportunity to take some piano lessons on Zoom. Every time I hear Tracey, I admire her style and especially the way she is able to improvise and add depth and fillers to plain hymns for example. I was delighted she had a time slot for me.
Its many decades since I last had piano lessons and initially my brain needed a lot of jogging remembering the notes and I’d never had theory lessons. I’ve found theory (yes Grade One) really helpful and for the first time in my life am finally getting some understanding of time signatures, and to be careful with notation and much more particular when reading music.
Tracey has the flexibility of a highly experienced teacher. While doing the very basics of theory she lets me try and learn pieces I like, regardless of their actual grade level. And some of these pieces are ambitious and she patiently listens as I hash them about and eventually manage to play with some semblance of what I hope the composer intended.
I can thoroughly recommend this kind, knowledgeable, patient woman to anyone wishing to learn, or improve their piano playing skills. I’m certainly very grateful to have this opportunity of learning to play on the “better late than never” platform.

Tracey Ryan is a very kind and considerate piano teacher. She pushes you to do your best in order to succeed. She was my teacher for eleven years and never failed to push me in order to achieve my goals. Her faith and care of every single one of her students make them want to do their best in order to move forward and gain higher achievements with the piano. Tracey helped me with all of my Trinity practical exams and my ABRSM theory exams. All of these exams were done with confidence because Tracey had prepared me well.
